(по З.К.Мерсеру) Показывает, какую сумму финансовый покупатель готов (и может быть , хочет) заплатить за контроль над бизнесом (приобретение контрольной доли акций компании) Финансовые покупатели приобретают компании, базируясь на их возможностях получать разумную (с их точки зрения) норму прибыли, часто при условии предполагаемых заимствований. В расширенной схеме, уровни финансового и стратегического контроля соответствуют стоимости контрольной доли собственности, которая является одним из основных элементов традиционной схемы. См.
